Job summary

Power Plus! is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to join our United States Temporary Power team. The role covers installation of structured cabling, copper/fiber optic backbone, and security/CCTV devices across various job sites.

You will read blueprints, extend circuits, troubleshoot, and maintain a clean, safe work area while adhering to safety and quality standards. A valid license and ability to lift 80 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must have manual dexterity and comfortable climbing ladders or using bucket trucks.
• Experience with fiber optic CCTV and security installations is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Install cabling systems per code requirements across new or existing environments.
• Perform installation of structured cabling including copper and fiber optic backbone and security/CCTV devices.
• Extend circuits and troubleshoot effectively.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Attend to business needs as required.

Currently we are seeking a candidate to join our United States Temporary Power team as aLow Voltage Technician.

SUMMARY:

This position performs all tasks required for installation of a complete structured cabling system in a new or existing construction environments. This includes but is not limited to horizontal cabling, copper/fiber optic backbone and security/CCTV devices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Knowledge and ability in the installation practices of fiber optic CCTV and Security installs.
• Perform all tasks required for installation of cabling systems in accordance to code requirements.
• Be able to extend circuits and troubleshoot effectively.
• Maintain work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Adhere to Power Plus! safety and quality standards.
• Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.

COMPETENCIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• Manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, comfort working with heights – climbing ladders and working in bucket trucks
• Knowledge and ability in the installation practices of fiber optic CCTV and Security installs a plus.
• Ability to read and understand construction blueprints
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures
• Effective verbal communication skills
• Able to attend to multiple priorities with frequent distractions.
• Valid, clean state Driver’s License and clean DMV report
• Knowledge of basic Microsoft office programs (Power Point /Excel /Visio/ Word).
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.

Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00
