Qualifications

• 1–5 years experience working in electrical or low voltage trade.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BICSI certification is a PLUS.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and experience of a Low Voltage Technician.
• Valid driver’s license and safe work record.

Responsibilities

• Pulling and installing low voltage type cabling (voice, data, security, paging, nurse-call, fiber optic, etc.).
• Cross connect cable.
• Perform fiber splicing and termination.
• Terminate cable according to color codes.
• Test for polarity and connectivity and repair.
• Install racks and patch panels.
• Set up in computer rooms.

We currently have openings for Low Voltage Technicians in our Technology Division . We are looking for technicians who are willing to work in and around the Columbus Ohio area.

Duties will include:

• Pulling and installing low voltage type cabling (i.e.-voice, data, security, paging, nurse-call, fiber optic, etc.)
• Cross connect cable
• Perform fiber splicing and termination
• Terminate cable according to color codes
• Test for polarity and connectivity and repair
• Install racks and patch panels
• Set up in computer rooms

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-5 years experience working in electrical or low voltage trade
• BICSI certification is a PLUS!
• Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and experience of a Low Voltage Technician
• Excellent safety record and the ability to promote a safe and profitable work environment
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to perform work at varying heights in lifts
• Willing to travel daily to jobsites in all mobile work locations in Ohio
