Job summary

Walmart in Winder, GA is looking for a skilled low voltage technician to install and service security systems, CCTV, fire alarms, AV, and network cabling. You will run and test cabling, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and restore systems to optimal operation.

Collaborate with technicians and project teams, maintain meticulous records, and provide customer training on basic operation and upkeep. A valid high school diploma and safe driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with electrical/low voltage systems and safety standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Proficient with hand tools and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sets up, installs, configures, and supports low voltage systems such as security, fire alarms, CCTV, and AV.
• Runs, terminates, labels, and tests cabling to specifications and industry standards.
• Performs preventive maintenance and fault isolation to minimize downtime.
• Maintains accurate service records and generates performance reports.
• Provides end-user training and technical support to customers.
