Qualifications

• Eight grade completion and 4 years of electrical maintenance/repair experience.
• Preferred high school diploma and 5+ years installing and troubleshooting electronic systems.
• Electrical certification/license and/or experience with Gallagher access systems, ONSSI Ocularis, and NFPA standards is a plus.
• Valid Florida driver's license at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and replace electronic systems in county facilities.
• Plan for installs, maintenance, testing, and repairs of electronic equipment.
• Oversee electronic equipment and control devices; maintain repair parts inventory.
• Review electronic contract specifications and plan integration of new systems.
• Plan cable wiring and fiber optics installations; troubleshoot components as needed.
• Keep records of electronic equipment; assist IT and Electrician duties.
• Respond to emergencies; work on call as needed; relocate as required.
• Attend work regularly and adhere to all regulations.
