Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Systems Low Voltage Technician in Florida to install, troubleshoot and commission low voltage systems on large-scale projects. You will interpret blueprints and coordinate with inspectors, project teams, and customers to ensure quality and code compliance.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of related low voltage work experience.
• Access Control and/or CCTV Manufacturer certifications required.
• BICSI Installer certification preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes and construction safety requirements.
• Ability to travel as required and must possess valid driver's license.
• Demonstrate and uphold Power Design's core values.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, and specifications.
• Install, troubleshoot, program, and configure access control, CCTV, networking, and IP cameras.
• Coordinate with local inspectors and act as on-site technical advisor to ensure code compliance.
• liaise between project management, trades and customers to manage schedule, scope changes and materials.
• Develop relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term relations.
• Travel to different jobsites in the designated region as needed.
