TRL Systems has been a leading fire life safety and security integrator in Southern California for decades. We serve various industry segments including healthcare, education, industrial, hospitality, government, multi-tenant, and transportation.

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing essential low voltage systems in commercial and secure environments.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Responding to service calls for healthcare and security systems such as medical alert systems, fire alarms, access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting system malfunctions.
  • Repairing or replacing faulty equipment and components.
  • Providing technical support and training to healthcare staff and security personnel.
  • Maintaining detailed service records and documentation.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and vendors for seamless system operation.

Skill Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of technical support experience with security, nurse call, and fire safety systems (e.g., EST3, Lenel, Ascom).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid California Driver License and proof of auto insurance.
  • Ability to work weekends, nights, split, and rotating shifts.
  • Ability to obtain required vaccinations/immunizations.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Ability to drive over 2 hours daily.
  • Ability to walk, bend, stoop, hear, and speak daily.
  • Work in indoor and outdoor environments under varying temperatures.
  • Occasional work at heights above 6ft and extreme heights.
  • Transport items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Work in confined spaces occasionally.
  • Pushing/pulling using upper extremities daily.
  • Stand or sit for over 4 hours daily.
  • Operate company vehicle frequently.
  • Work may occur in construction sites, commercial, high-rise buildings, and hospitals.
