Job summary

New Era Technology is hiring a Low Voltage Service Technician to assist the Service Manager with installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of low voltage systems such as fire alarm, CCTV, access control and AV in client facilities.

The role offers opportunities to gain experience in design, estimating, engineering and sales, with a focus on people-first service and professional growth in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Associate Electronics degree or 5+ years in systems installation, service, programming, and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Service, inspect, test, and maintain low voltage systems.
• Troubleshoot, adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry and programming; record effects on system performance.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability by following instructions and being an active listener.
• Adapt to changing field conditions and pursue career development opportunities such as training and certification courses.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance and keep a clean, organized work environment.
• Conduct some engineering work for nurse call.
