Job summary

LINX is seeking a Low Voltage Senior Quality and Training Specialist – Data Center in Monroe, LA. You will lead regional QA/QC oversight for low voltage and fiber cabling across hyperscale data center and commercial builds, reviewing BOMs and PMLs, inspecting installations, and delivering training programs to ensure uniform quality nationwide.

The role requires 5-7+ years in network cabling projects, deep standards knowledge (TIA/EIA, BICSI), and demonstrated leadership in quality management.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience delivering network cabling projects including fiber and copper
• Deep knowledge of industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI) and Division 27 documentation
• Experience leading quality control and assurance at site and regional levels
• Proficiency with cable testing tools and quality documentation
• Strong leadership and communication; ability to travel regionally

Responsibilities

• Lead site-level quality management for data center and commercial projects ensuring compliance with specs and safety
• Provide regional quality oversight to drive consistency in cabling practices
• Review project scopes, BOMs, and PMLs for accuracy of materials and labor
• Supervise and mentor cabling crews and conduct inspections on fiber/copper systems

Salary Range: $36.00 To $48.00 Annually

Pay: $36.00 – $48.00/hour

LINX is hiring a Senior Quality and Training Specialist to lead regional QA/QC oversight for low voltage and fiber cabling installations across hyperscale data center and commercial construction projects, paying $36.00 to $48.00 an hour.

You'll own quality at both the site and regional level, reviewing BOMs and PMLs, inspecting fiber and copper installations across multiple job sites, and building and delivering the training programs that keep quality consistent everywhere LINX is building.

What You'll Be Doing

Regional & Site-Level Quality Leadership

• Lead site-level quality management for data center and commercial construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations
• Provide regional quality oversight across multiple job sites to drive consistency in structured cabling and fiber optic installation practices

Scope, BOM & PML Review

• Review and validate project scopes, BOMs, and PMLs, confirming accuracy of materials, equipment, and labor for large-scale construction environments

Crew Supervision & Corrective Action

• Supervise and mentor cabling and fiber optic crews, ensuring efficient execution and high-quality workmanship
• Conduct pre- and post-installation quality inspections on fiber optic, copper, and low-voltage systems to verify terminations, labeling, and system performance
• Partner with project managers and construction leadership to resolve scope deviations and implement corrective actions

Quality Systems, Documentation & Training

• Maintain comprehensive quality documentation and inspection records in support of audit readiness and project closeout
• Develop and implement quality control procedures, checklists, and standards specific to data center infrastructure and commercial builds
• Deliver training and mentorship for QC personnel and field teams on fiber optic installation best practices and workmanship standards

Stakeholder Communication

• Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to address quality concerns, provide status updates, and drive continuous improvement across projects
• 5-7+ years of experience delivering network cabling projects, including fiber optic and copper infrastructure installations
• Deep knowledge of industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI) and Division 27 documentation for structured cabling systems
• Demonstrated experience leading quality control and quality assurance at both site and regional levels
• Proficiency with cable testing tools, inspection processes, and quality documentation, including Fluke DSX-600/8000 cable certifiers
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentorship skills, including experience training field and QC personnel
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive problem solver with the ability to travel regionally and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

This Role Is Probably Not Right For You If

• You've never done hands-on fiber or copper cabling installation, this isn't an entry point for classroom trainers or office-based QA/compliance staff without field experience
• You've only ever inspected your own work, not led or mentored a crew

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, IT, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in commercial construction environments
• BICSI Technician or Installer certification, Copper or Optical Fiber
• OSHA 10
• Confined Space Certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Manufacturer certifications for installation and maintenance (Fluke, Fujikura, Sumitomo, Corning, Hilti)

Pay Rate: $36.00 - $48.00/hour, depending on experience
