Job summary

CMI-HR & Facility Solutions seeks a reliable Network & Low Voltage Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot networking, cabling, and security systems. The role emphasizes hands-on field work, customer-focused service, and adherence to company standards.

The ideal candidate has experience with structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Travel and flexible hours may be required.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent certifications in IT/related field.
  • 2+ years in technology field with networking experience.
  • Solid understanding of networking and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with structured cabling and low voltage systems.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot network systems including switching and connectivity.
  • Service CCTV, alarm systems, and access control systems.
  • Perform structured cabling work (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber).
  • Diagnose and repair communication systems using testing tools.
  • Read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Submit service reports accurately and on time.
  • Safely operate power tools, lifts, and specialized equipment.
