Job summary

KALCON is seeking a qualified Low Voltage QA/Security Cx Associate to provide owner representation on a data center campus project. The role emphasizes field oversight, inspection, and coordination across disciplines to ensure installation aligns with design and schedule.

Responsibilities include witness and document commissioning activities (Cx Alloy), manage punch lists, and ensure cabling for security, network, WAP, and BMS systems meets project standards.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in CM, EE or related field preferred.
• Equivalent field experience in lieu of degree considered.
• Minimum 4 years in low voltage infra incl cable tray, conduit, equipment.
• Experience on mission critical/high-tech construction projects.
• Familiar with security, network/WAP, and controls cabling systems.
• Experience with commissioning processes incl script assignment & Cx Alloy docs.
• Strong understanding of installation quality standards & labeling.
• Proficient in Procore or ACC construction software.
• Excellent communication and cross-discipline coordination.
• Ability to manage punch lists & ensure timely corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Field Oversight & Inspection: verify installation progress per schedule.
• Assess installation quality for design compliance.
• Document findings in Procore/ACC and confirm corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Q-Systems support for onsite oversight and coordination across disciplines.
• Pathways: oversee Outside Plant and Inside Plant pathways installation.
• Low Voltage Cabling: oversee cabling for security, network and WAP, and BMS controls.
• Verify Equipment Installations per design for security, network/WAP, and BMS/EMPS controls.
• Physical Inspection: ensure proper device installation, labeling, and workmanship.
• Commissioning (Cx) Support: coordinate and witness commissioning scripts in Cx Alloy.
• Track punch lists and drive path to completion.
