Job summary

Power Design, Inc. in St. Petersburg, FL, seeks a Low Voltage Assistant Project Manager to work with senior managers, overseeing all business aspects of regionally assigned projects, from labor operations to budget management.

You will receive mentorship and training at our facility, and you may travel up to 25% to project sites, engaging with customers and other trades while representing Power Design in the field.

Qualifications

• College graduate with industry-related degree.
• 3–5 years of related PM experience in Low Voltage security systems (CCTV, access control, etc.).
• Proficient with Oracle or other formalized project management software and Accubid or other estimating software.
• Excel, Word, Outlook proficiency.
• Experience with large-scale commercial or multi-family residential construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• With direct supervision and support, manage the business side of large-scale construction projects.
• Collaborate with senior team members, suppliers, and contractors to coordinate schedules, inventory, material and project correspondence.
• Travel up to 25% to assigned regional projects as needed, interacting with customers and other trades while representing the organization in the field.
• Receive hands-on training from mentor and our state-of-the-art training facility, utilizing cutting-edge technology.
