Job summary

Faith Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to lead electrical/automation/MES construction projects, ensuring safety, quality and profitability while managing staff. The role requires 5 years in electrical work and 1 year in electrical estimating, plus travel of 15–20%. Proficiency in MS Office; Accubid and AutoCAD preferred.

Typically 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with flexibility to meet business needs. Opportunities exist to grow with a rapidly developing company.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Construction, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5 years experience in the electrical field and 1 year of electrical estimating experience.
  • Travel: 15-20%
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Accubid and AutoCAD knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, and staffs electrical/automation/MES construction projects; ensure safety, profitability, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identifies and generates new business; networks and maintains customer relationships.
  • Promotes a positive Company Culture by fostering constructive employee relations.
  • Collaborates with Purchasing and vendors for material coordination.
  • Attends daily, weekly and monthly meetings (ORMs, Staffing, Jobsite, PM, Finance).
  • Participates in bi-annual field performance reviews and coaches staff on growth opportunities.
  • Partner with Human Resources on recruiting, employee relations, and related topics for direct reports.
  • Reviews outgoing estimates with Estimating to ensure accuracy.
  • Visits jobsites to ensure progress and promote safe behavior.

Project Managers are responsible for generating business, providing general management of electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects, and overseeing staff. The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of Accubid and AutoCAD is preferred.

Education: Bachelor's Degree(in one of the following fields: Construction Management, Project Management, Construction, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields)

Experience:5 years experience in the electrical field and1 year of electrical estimating experience

Travel: 15-20%

Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plans, organizes, and staffs electrical/automation/MES construction projects. Ensures that projects are completed safely, profitably, timely, of a high quality and according to customer expectations.
  • Identifies and generates new business. Networks, establishes, and maintains customer relationships.
  • Promotes a positive Company Culture by fostering friendly and constructive employee relations.
  • Works with Purchasing Department and vendors to ensure effective material coordination.
  • Attends daily, weekly and monthly meetings (i.e., ORM's, Staffing Meeting, Jobsite Meetings, Project Manager Meeting, Financial Meeting, etc.).
  • Participates in bi-annual field performance review process; conducts effective employee performance reviews in a timely manner; coaches employees on future growth opportunities, maintains high integrity relations, and establishes field merit wage increases.
  • Partners with Human Resources to optimize recruiting and selection, employee relations, and other related topics as it pertains to direct reports.
  • Reviews outgoing estimates with Estimating Department to ensure accuracy.
  • Visits various jobsites and interacts with crew, customers, foreman, and general contractors to ensure proper job progress and to support and encourage safe behavior.
