Qualifications

• Ability to read and act on cutsheets, rack specifications, and design drawings.
• Willing and able to travel extensively — not a local or remote-friendly role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as quality control lead across all active scopes on site.
• Perform inspections for rack and stack, trunk pulls, and patching.
• Coordinate submittal packages and sign-off documentation.
• Own inventory tracking and maintenance for the project.
• Lead all rack installation and equipment population activities on site.

About the role

Veredian Technologies is hiring General Foremen to fill specialized field roles on ICT deployments at hyperscale data centers for a confidential client. Each Foreman owns a defined functional area — project lead/QC, inventory and logistics, cabling, or rack and stack — and is embedded full-time on site as part of the onsite management team representing the owner. These positions involve consistent travel between project sites and require hands‑on technical execution every day.

Responsibilities

• Serve as quality control lead across all active scopes on site
• Perform QC inspections for rack and stack, trunk pulls per rack, and patching per rack
• Flex to support other functional areas as execution demands shift
• Coordinate submittal packages and sign‑off documentation with the PM
• Own onsite inventory tracking: material arrived, installed, and missing by manufacturer part number
• Maintain and update cable and rack‑and‑stack BOMs throughout deployment
• Coordinate material delivery schedules with the client logistics team
• Implement 5S or equivalent logistics strategies for clear material boundary management
• Perform asset receipt and ensure traceability from delivery to installation
• Lead cable pulling activities including route management, segregation, and labeling
• Oversee termination and testing activities per network span and distribution header
• Train LVC personnel on cutsheet interpretation and cable execution strategies
• Track progress by span/DH and report daily to the PM
• Lead all rack installation and equipment population activities on site
• Interpret rack specifications and ensure installation matches design intent
• Track rack install and population progress by distribution header
• Enforce installation standards and support QC inspections for rack scope

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience in low‑voltage, structured cabling, or ICT data center work
• Ability to read and act on cutsheets, rack specs, and design drawings
• Familiarity with JIRA preferred
• Strong trade craft, attention to detail, and a drive to hold quality standards on site
• Must be willing and able to travel extensively — projects are located at hyperscale data center sites across the U.S. Active projects require full on‑site presence; this is not a local or remote‑friendly role
