Qualifications

• Experience installing, servicing, testing, and troubleshooting low voltage systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, wiring diagrams, riser diagrams, schematics, and system documentation.
• Familiarity with codes, standards, and best practices for low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, troubleshoot, and repair fire alarm systems and components.
• Service fire alarm panels, notification devices, initiating devices, detectors, and interfaces.
• Perform system testing, inspections, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Diagnose and resolve fire alarm issues in new construction and service work.
• Read construction drawings, riser diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, and docs.
• Install devices, wire, support programming, verify system.
• Identify deficiencies and propose solutions to customers and project teams.
• Complete service reports, inspection docs, testing records, closeout paperwork accurately.
• Respond to service calls with timely field support.
• Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, inspectors, and teams.
• Maintain safety policy compliance per NFPA, manufacturer and local codes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
