Job Summary

The Low Voltage/Fire Alarm Technician's responsibility is to maintain, troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems and related equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair fire alarm systems and related equipment
  • Respond to any emergency or urgent events involving fire alarms and/or fire suppression
  • Provide emergency repairs and coordinate response and related communications as needed
  • Perform ongoing preventative maintenance testing and inspections to ensure dependable services are offered to the end user
  • Serve as contact for University Police for after hours call backs


Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience
  • Four (4) or more years of related work experience


Proposed Salary

$21.55 per hour

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
