Job summary

Next Level Technician in El Paso, TX seeks a Fire Alarm Technician for a ~2-year project in a controlled data center environment. You will install, route, label, and terminate fire alarm wiring and devices, read blueprints, and troubleshoot systems. Travel to other FTI sites nationwide is possible to support future projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fire alarm systems.
• Current Texas fire alarm licensing/credentialing.
• Experience with VESDA piping or fire alarm systems.
• Understanding of NEC and NFPA codes.
• Experience troubleshooting panels and programming devices.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, label, and terminate fire alarm piping and wiring in data centers.
• Read and interpret fire alarm layouts from blueprints.
• Troubleshoot and service existing fire alarm systems.
• Travel to Next Level Technician project sites as needed.
• Work safely with ladders and PPE; report to El Paso facility.
• Support additional low voltage systems at various sites.
