Job summary

Morley-Moss, Inc. is seeking a Low Voltage Estimator to join the Sunnyvale, TX team. The role centers on estimating and pricing bid quotations and packages for electrical system projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in construction estimates, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Accubid, Procore, Esticom, and related software, plus excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related experience in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Knowledge of construction contracts and bid documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed pricing for development of bid quotations and bid packages.
• Assist management in bidding decisions and price determination for products or services.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate estimates and timely bid submissions.
• Maintain updated cost estimates and change orders as needed.

Job Summary

Morley-Moss, Inc. is looking to add a Low Voltage Estimator to the team in Sunnyvale, TX.

The Estimator is responsible for estimating and providing management with detailed pricing for development of bid quotations and bid packages. He or she should have relevant experience in preparing cost estimates for product manufacturing, construction projects, or services to aid management in bidding on or determining price of product or service. He or she may specialize according to particular service performed or type of product manufactured.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must have the demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in English, cooperate, and collaborate with multiple levels of customer, employees, unions, government agencies, vendors and suppliers, and other contractor organizations.

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years related experience in the construction industry.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor of Science in and Master of Science in engineering or construction related field desirable.
• Knowledge of the construction industry and contract documentation.
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines.

COMPUTER SKILLS

• Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, (i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Familiarity with Accubid, and other electrical, technical, or construction programs.
• Familiarity with project management/document control software.
• Familiarity with construction/financial software packages.
