Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking an Electrician with low voltage experience to install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and CMMS-recorded systems across facilities and customer sites. You’ll work with engineers to meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards while supporting ongoing projects.

You’ll handle IP video, access control, intrusion systems, and cabling, reading schematics and wiring diagrams, and ensuring compliance with NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; accredited electrical apprenticeship or technical program preferred.
• 2–3 years of hands-on electrical experience in industrial, commercial, or field service settings.
• Experience with at least one low voltage system type (IP video/VMS, access control, intrusion alarms, cabling, or AV).
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and P&IDs.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate, and maintain electrical systems and control panels.
• Perform conduit installation (EMT, Rigid) and apply lockout/tagout safety.
• Troubleshoot faults using meters, meggers, and thermal imaging.
• Read schematics and P&IDs; ensure NEC, NFPA 70E, OSHA compliance.
• Document work, coordinate with engineers and project managers, and support commissioning.
• Provide guidance to field teams and review for quality and code compliance.
