Job description

Troy Security Systems is seeking an experienced, skilled, and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. As an integral member of our Security & Alarms division, the successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of security systems in residential and commercial properties.

Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot security system components such as wiring, control panels, sensors, cameras, access control devices, and alarms.
  • Conduct site surveys to determine the appropriate security system design for each project.
  • Collaborate with our sales team to understand client requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, inventory, and equipment.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and regulations during installation, maintenance, and repair processes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the security and alarm systems field.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an electrician, with a focus on security and alarm systems.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with various security system components, including CCTV, access control, and burglar alarms.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing as required by our company policies.
