Job summary

Centurion Security Systems, LLC in Troy, OH is hiring an Entry-Level Field Technician to install and service security systems, cameras, and access control in homes and small businesses.

You will run wiring, mount devices, program alarm panels, and assist customers by explaining system usage. Training is provided, with a starting pay of $18/hr and a raise after 90 days. This is a full-time, locally based role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver\'s license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working in attics, crawlspaces, and basements; able to lift 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in customers\' homes.
• Willingness to learn; mechanical aptitude valued.

Responsibilities

Centurion Security Systems is a locally owned alarm and security company based in Troy, serving about 500 monitored customers across Miami County and the Greater Dayton area. We’re a small team, so you’ll get hands‑on training, work directly with experienced techs, and your work will matter from day one.

What you’ll do

• Install security alarm systems, cameras, access control, and related low-voltage equipment in homes and businesses
• Run and terminate wire, mount devices, and program alarm panels (we’ll teach you)
• Troubleshoot and repair existing systems on service calls
• Explain systems to customers and show them how to use them
• Keep your vehicle, tools, and job paperwork organized and up to date

What we’re looking for

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
