The role supports both internal and external customers with design-related questions and coordinates with the Construction Manager to meet timelines and budgets. The position emphasizes office work with occasional site surveys, collaboration with Sales and Projects teams, and strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent experience in CAD drafting or related field.
• Strong computer skills with knowledge of design software, especially AutoCAD and Visio.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively to meet project timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D/3D drawings for low voltage system projects and prepare submittal packages.
• Coordinate drawing schedules with Construction Manager and project teams.
• Conduct field surveys to verify system requirements and update documents accordingly.
• Prepare Owner Documentation packages and manage drawing storage.
• Provide estimating support and technical expertise to sales as needed.
• Maintain accurate time sheets and assist with project costing.
