Job summary

Acuative is seeking a Structured Cabling Project Coordinator to lead mid-scale to large-scale low-voltage cabling projects across commercial environments. You will work closely with Structured Cabling Project Managers, field technicians, vendors, general contractors, and customers to keep projects organized and financially controlled toward successful completion.

The role emphasizes material management, BOMs, vendor coordination, purchase orders, and comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in structured cabling or low-voltage project coordination.
• Experience with material takeoffs, BOM development, and project material planning.
• Experience coordinating vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Experience creating or managing purchase orders and procurement.
• Familiarity with project financials, cost tracking, invoicing, budgets, or margin management.
• Excellent organization, communication, and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with planning, scheduling, and administration of structured cabling projects.
• Review drawings, floor plans, and field information to determine cabling requirements.
• Prepare BOMs and perform material takeoffs for copper and fiber.
• Obtain vendor pricing and manage procurement.
• Create and track purchase orders and change orders.
• Track project financials, commitments, and budgets.
• Coordinate site surveys, meetings, and field activities.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders professionally.
