Responsibilities
  • Install and route low voltage cables (e.g., CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optic, coaxial) in pre construction environments.
  • Terminate and test cabling systems to ensure functionality and compliance with TIA/EIA standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other contractors to meet project timelines and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to OSHA and local safety regulations.
  • Provide own tools and equipment necessary for low voltage cabling tasks.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in low voltage cabling installation (1–3 years preferred).
  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., TIA/EIA, BICSI, NEC).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Requirements
