Job summary

Everllence, Brookshire, Texas, seeks a Superintendent Engineer to join the Engine Support Global team. You will work aboard ships and with customers worldwide, applying expertise in two-stroke engines and marine systems to advance environmentally friendly propulsion and new developments.

You will travel extensively, collaborate with Design and R&D, and help decarbonize marine transportation while supporting engine builders and crews in challenging environments.

Qualifications

  • Requires a degree in Engineering or Marine Engineering (Bachelor level or higher).
  • Interest and knowledge of two-stroke engines.
  • Strong English skills, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

  • Travel extensively, mainly in the U.S. with possible international trips.
  • Work independently on ships and make critical decisions on the spot.

We are looking for a Superintendent Engineer to join our Engine Support team in Brookshire (Houston), Texas.

You will play an important role in

You will work with groundbreaking solutions that reduce emissions and enable the use of environmentally friendly fuels such as Methane, Ethane, LPG, Methanol, and Ammonia. Furthermore you will be working with Tier III technologies as well as other tasks when attending vessel for warranty cases and following up on R&D field tests.

You will:

  • Spend a significant amount of time traveling, mainly in the U.S., however international traveling might occur.
  • Work independently on ships and make critical decisions on the spot.
  • Assist Engine builders, customers and crews on vessels worldwide.
  • Collaborate closely with our Design and R&D teams.
  • Play a key role in introducing Everllence dual fuel technologies and other new developments.
  • Contribute to our strategy for decarbonizing marine transportation.

We imagine that you

Hold a degree in Engineering or Marine Engineering (Bachelor level or higher).

Interest and knowledge of two-stroke engines.

Experience is an advantage, but we also welcome less experienced candidates.

Flexibility for extensive travel.

Seagoing experience is an advantage.

Strong English skills both spoken and written.

A positive mindset and ability to work independently while being a team player.

Basic understanding of both mechanics and electronics -comfortable with oily hands and technical drawings alike.

You will work within one of our professional teams, providing technical support to customers on their vessels and to ship owners worldwide.

Our Engine Support Global Team focuses on control systems, mechanics, hydraulics, and test and measurement tasks, all aimed at implementing environmentally friendly fuels. We are dedicated and passionate about our work—but don't worry, we also know how to make you smile.
