Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or computer science with coursework in motion planning or controls.
• 3+ years of production software experience using modern software practices.
• Hands-on testing of controls solutions on production-grade vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement motion-planning and control modules for autonomous vehicle platforms.
• Characterize the dynamics of customers’ vehicles to tailor controls and reduce simulation-to-reality gaps.
• Evaluate research and develop optimal-control solutions using nonlinear MPC and MPPI.
