Applied Intuition, Inc. is building the autonomous vehicle stack and related infrastructure from its Sunnyvale, CA HQ. We seek engineers who will design and implement motion planning and controls across vehicle platforms, combining theory with hands-on testing on real-world systems.

You will work with fast-paced teams and interact with customers to refine solutions. Ideal candidates have 3+ years producing production-grade software, a deep understanding of control theory and numerical

Qualifications

• Must have strong background in motion planning or controls.
• Experience building production software with modern software practices.
• Hands-on testing of controls solutions on real, production-grade vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement motion planning and controls modules for multiple vehicle platforms to enable autonomous navigation.
• Characterize dynamics of customers’ vehicles to tailor controls solutions and bridge simulation with reality.
• Evaluate academic research to develop optimal-control-based solutions using methods like nonlinear MPC and MPPI.
