Job summary

Benton Roofing is seeking a Roofing Technician to join our team. This role involves roofing installation and maintenance across commercial projects; on-the-job training is provided and the candidate should be comfortable working on steep roofs and outdoors.

Applicants with 3+ years of commercial roofing preferred, familiar with various roofing systems, and able to use roofing tools. Aerial lift and metal roofing experience are a bonus; strong safety awareness is essential.

• Willingness to work on steep roofs.
• Clean driving record.
• 3+ years of commercial roofing experience (preferred).
• Knowledge and experience with multiple roofing systems (preferred).
• Aerial Lift (preferred).

• Physically active and able to work outdoors.

Requirements

Roofing Technician Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn through on-the-job training
• Willingness to work on steep roofs
• Clean Driving Record
• 3+ Years of Commercial Roofing Experience (preferred)
• Knowledge and experience with multiple types of commercial roofing systems or construction in general (preferred but not required)
• Aerial Lift (preferred)
• Some experience with metal roofing (1-2 years of roofing experience preferred but not required)
• Enthusiasm for working outside in the elements and being physically active
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and think outside-the-box
• Dependable and able to be at work on time and on a consistent basis
• Presentable in appearance, and professional when communicating with both customers and Benton Team Members
• Sharpen up your Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) knowledge so you’re a top-notch construction industry member
• Knowledge and experience with multiple types of roofing systems (preferred but not required)
• Experience using a hot air welder and/or other roofing system application tool (preferred but not required)
