Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Low Observable (LO) Design and Integration Engineer (Mid-Level or Senior) to design, analyze, and integrate EM components for LO systems. The role focuses on applying EM theory and using CEM tools to optimize materials and architectures for aircraft platforms.

Onsite work at Berkeley, MO is required, with up to 10% travel. A Top Secret clearance is required, and a potential signing bonus may be offered for eligible external candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of related work experience for Mid-Level.
• 3+ years of hands-on EM materials/technologies experience.
• 9+ years for Senior level with same degree requirement.
• Experience with EM principles in aircraft systems.
• Experience with CEM solvers (HFSS, SENTRI, XPATCH etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform design, analysis and integration activities for electromagnetics (EM).
• Use computational EM solvers to model and analyze.
• Apply EM theory to assess materials, shapes and structures affecting aircraft systems.
• Define and execute test plans and validation activities.
• Collaborate with structures, propulsion, materials and flight test teams.
• Prepare documentation, specifications and design packages.
