Job summary

Two Sigma is seeking engineers to build and maintain the infrastructure that powers trading and data platforms. You will work on distributed storage, cloud environments, and low-latency systems across engineering areas.

Responsibilities include ensuring reliability of mission-critical products, ingesting data from 10,000+ sources daily, and using open source and proprietary tools to test and deploy quantitative strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a technical or quantitative field.
• Experience with Java, C, C++, Python, Ruby, Perl, or other JVM-targeted languages.
• Experience in large-scale systems.
• Exceptional programming skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Build underlying infrastructure used by other engineering teams, including distributed storage and cloud environments.
• Ensure reliability of mission-critical products and systems, such as the main trading system.
• Use open source and proprietary tools to build environments that test and deploy quantitative strategies (models).
• Build and maintain low-latency, high-performance infrastructure for executing trades.
• Build and scale infrastructure to ingest data from 10,000+ sources daily.
• Partner with Corporate teams to develop tools, systems and products to increase productivity and efficiency across the organization.
