Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on background crafting high-throughput, low-latency distributed platforms.
• Proficient in Modern C++ (C++11-C++17) with lock-free data structures and multithreading.
• Experience with real-time, high-throughput data environments.
• Designs highly available, fault-tolerant software systems.
• Strong Linux/Unix internals and network protocols knowledge (TCP/UDP).
• Relational DB design and queries (PostgreSQL or similar).
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, or related field.
• Clear written and verbal communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect ultra-low latency services processing live market updates and portfolio risk.
• Engineer scalable distributed architectures handling multi-million events per second.
• Build robust messaging frameworks and data pipelines for continuous availability.
• Fine-tune C++ codebases to minimize microsecond delays and improve resiliency.
• Collaborate with quants and trading desks to deliver features for dynamic strategies.
