Job summary

Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to deliver low-intensity therapies. The role supports people with common mental health problems, primarily via telephone and group sessions, with some face-to-face contact.

You will be registered as a PWP (BABCP/BPS) and bring experience in evidence-based psychological therapies within primary care settings.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level enabling psychological mindedness (psychology/social sciences/health).
• Certificate in Low Intensity Psychological Interventions (PWP).
• Desirable training: LTC IAPT top up or IAPT supervisor training.

Responsibilities

• Deliver low-intensity treatments by telephone or group sessions and some face-to-face work.
• Assess referrals and conduct patient-centred interviews to identify change or recovery needs.
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and adhere to service referral protocols.
