Job summary

COMSOL Ltd. in Burlington, MA is seeking an Applications Engineer specializing in low frequency electromagnetics to support customers from pre- to post-sales. You will develop simulation examples and demonstrate COMSOL Multiphysics to illustrate applications and capabilities.

The role includes training colleagues, running workshops, and traveling to customer sites in North America for events and technical support, with strong emphasis on clear communication and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with six months+ experience in modeling low-frequency EM via numerical methods.
• Excellent communication skills on phone, in person, and in writing.
• Current eligibility to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate clear simulation examples for prospective customers in low-frequency electromagnetics.
• Support modeling of customer applications with COMSOL Multiphysics.
• Demonstrate COMSOL software in workshops and meetings.
• Travel to current and potential customers in North America for events.
• Provide post-sales technical support for EM and multiphysics applications.
• Initiate and participate in sales opportunities with existing customers.
• Develop and mentor junior applications engineers and conduct training.
