The Multi Machine Operator is responsible for the setup and operation of equipment involved in performing operations such as Sawing, Broaching, Stamping, Drilling, and Tapping on items similar in nature but varying in size. The role includes the following responsibilities:

Essential Responsibilities:
  1. Set up and operate production machinery and similar items.
  2. Read blueprints or job orders for product specifications, including dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures, feed rates, and cutting speeds; determine sequence of operations.
  3. Select, position, and secure tools in tool holders (chuck, collet, or tool post).
  4. Position and secure workpieces in holding devices, machine tables, chucks, centers, or fixtures.
  5. Adjust controls to position tools and workpieces relative to each other; set feeds, speeds, and depths of cut.
  6. Change fixtures, tools, and tool holders as needed; set up fixtures or feeding devices; start machines; feed tools to workpieces and engage feeds.
  7. Adjust speeds and feeds; change dull or broken tooling.
  8. Load and unload parts from machinery.
  9. Control coolant or cutting oil flow against tools and workpieces; replenish coolant reservoirs.
  10. Monitor machine operation and verify that machined workpieces meet specifications; record measurements and notify supervisors of defects.
  11. Handle materials, parts, tools, and containers.
  12. Report any issues with tools, materials, or equipment malfunctions.
  13. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Basic blueprint reading skills.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Physical Requirements:
  • 95% of the time on feet, operating multiple machines.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs; over 50 lbs with proper devices.
  • Repetitive movements such as twisting, bending, and hand gripping.

This position may require access to US export-controlled technical data and hardware under US State (ITAR) and Commerce (EAR) regulations. Eligible candidates include US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees, or others authorized for US export licenses. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.
