Job summary

Boyd Gaming seeks a hospitality professional to deliver elevated beverage service on a prominent casino floor lounge. You will engage guests, upsell beverages, and maintain a welcoming, high-energy environment that aligns with the property’s updated look.

Responsibilities include managing floor flow, running drinks, handling POS orders, and ensuring accurate payments while maintaining cleanliness and strong guest relations throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 12 months experience in a high-volume bar or dining setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Polished, professional appearance for guest-facing role.
• Ability to walk for duration of shift and lift trays up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver elevated, high-touch beverage service with energy and professionalism.
• Explain and upsell beer, wine, cocktails, and spirits with knowledge.
• Acknowledge and engage guests as they arrive; manage lounge flow.
• Support service by running drinks, resetting spaces, and assisting bartenders.
• Place orders in POS and relay to bartenders; handle payments.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and ensure consistent guest experience.
• Attend shifts reliably and maintain a calm, courteous demeanor.
