Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a Lounge Server to deliver exceptional, personalized beverage service in an upscale lounge environment at Luxor. You will take and serve beverage orders with precision while creating a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere for our guests.

The role requires 21+ years of age, 6+ months of relevant experience, weekend/holiday shifts, and cash-handling ability. Starting rate is $14.4497 per hour + tips, with benefits and growth opportunities within MGM

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• 6+ months of prior relevant experience as a cocktail and/or food server.
• Weekend/holiday availability.
• Cash-handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete opening side duties fold/stack cocktail napkins, stock swizzle sticks, straws, matches, line cocktail trays, stock glassware, restock supply cabinet, inspect cleanliness and condition of assigned station and service areas; rectify any deficiencies
• Knowledge of liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections available on the casino floor
• Knowledge of designated glassware and garnishes for each drink
• Communicate order into system through Bartender; ensure transmission is verified
• Knowledge of Hotel services and features as well as local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management; notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
• Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required

THE JOB:

The Lounge Server at Luxor delivers exceptional, personalized service in an upscale lounge environment. This role is responsible for taking and serving beverage orders with precision and efficiency while creating a welcoming, high-energy atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.

THE STARTING RATE: $14.4497 Hourly + Tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 21+ years of age
• 6+ Months of prior relevant experience as a Cocktail and/or food server in a similar environment preferred
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• Cash-handling experience preferred
