Major Food Group is hiring Lounge Servers to join our team at Dirty French!

Located in the Ludlow Hotel on Manhattan’s storied Lower East Side, Dirty French is an energetic bistro created by the acclaimed hospitality brand Major Food Group and its co-founders Jeff Zalaznick, Mario Carbone, and Rich Torrisi. The restaurant takes its culinary cues from the timeless dishes of the classic French tradition and enlivens them by utilizing modern techniques and bold, thrilling flavors. Among many accolades, Dirty French holds a glowing two stars from the New York Times.
Responsibilities
  1. Serve guests during their visit, and assist in the preparation of beverage service, all while providing outstanding service to our guests along the way.
  2. Greet and welcome our guests and promptly serve them food and beverages, receive and process orders in the POS system in a timely and accurate manner.
  3. Ensure that guests have an outstanding experience and look immediately into any complaints.
  4. Maintain cleanliness of tables, countertops, and work areas.
  5. Perform setup and breakdown of various stations.
Requirements
  1. At least 2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants.
  2. Team-oriented and positive attitude.
  3. Strong communication skills a must.
  4. Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
  5. Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours; bend, push, pull; lift 30 lbs.
  6. Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, Word, and Excel.
