Job Overview

To serve beverages and/or items on the menu to guests in a professional, competent, and prompt manner to ensure guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  1. Pick up bank and guest checks from prescribed area.
  2. Set up and break down the bar, including locking up liquor and storing fruit and juices properly.
  3. Accept drink orders from guests/servers in proper calling order.
  4. Prepare cocktails according to Beverage Standards using standard jigger.
  5. Work professionally with all guests and colleagues.
  6. Follow check handling procedures, including credit card policies; no cash tabs.
  7. Red Line all drink orders from servers, checking tickets for accuracy.
  8. Prepare beverage requisitions for liquor.
  9. Create a friendly, hospitable, and professional working atmosphere.
  10. Perform duties safely using established procedures and equipment.
  11. Follow procedures for promotional and birthday drinks.
  12. Complete opening and closing duties as per checklists.
  13. Comply with procedures regarding alcohol service and minor identification.
  14. Check and replace glassware as needed.
  15. Stock and replenish ice at all stations.
  16. Clean floors and trashcans at shift end or as necessary.
  17. Manage inventory of soda, juices, and their rotation; stock beer bottles and kegs as needed.
