Cherry Bekaert LLP in Louisville is seeking an Audit Partner to lead the Louisville Market. The ideal candidate will be CPA certified, with 15+ years of public accounting experience, and a proven track record in growth, client leadership and market visibility.

This role requires building the office, developing talent, and driving the firm's growth strategy. Limited travel is expected, and a strong local network in Louisville is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Masters preferred.
• Must be CPA certified and have an active CPA license.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience with a large local, regional or national public accounting firm.
• Demonstrated experience in driving growth and building an office, practice, industry group, service line or similar.
• Ability to drive success through the influencing of Partners.
• No agencies.

Responsibilities

• Consistently grow the practice through expansion of services to existing clients, cross selling with other advisory practices, and obtaining new clients.
• Serve as the face of the Firm to the local market team and the local marketplace.
• Execute the Firm and Audit Service Line vision, strategy, and goals for the Louisville audit practice, as well as support other leaders in their execution of the strategic plan.
• Lead Market execution of Firm strategy and goals through reinforcement of Firm Vision Model and champion of Firm’s shared values.
• Ensure proper communication flow to the market related to Firm initiatives.
• Develop professionals within the practice and build a talent pipeline with the requisite technical expertise.
• Drive consistency, collaboration and communication among Service Line, Market Leaders, Shared Service Leaders, Advisory and Industry Leaders as well as with other stakeholders.
