Job summary

GlobalPoint HC is seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery nurse for a travel assignment in DeRidder, Louisiana. The role supports the Labor & Delivery Department in a newly renovated Women’s Health Center, with shifts from 7p to 7a.

Candidates must have OR circulation training and be traveling from agencies listed by the Louisiana Department of Health. General certifications include BLS/BCLS and NRP; Joint Commission Accredited agencies only may apply.

Qualifications

• Must have OR circulation training.
• Average 30–40 births per month.
• Travel RNs must be from agencies on the Louisiana Department of Health Nurse Staffing Agencies List.
• Joint Commission Accredited agencies only.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care including obstetric and postpartum support.
• Monitor mother and fetus, administer medications, and manage complications as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in the Labor & Delivery Department.
