Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Manager, Behavioral Health Contract Negotiations in Louisiana to serve as the contracting subject matter resource for the Louisiana Medicaid behavioral health network, understanding provider types, qualifications, and reimbursement structures.

This role supports network leadership in assessing needs by level of care, identifying gaps, and helping develop recruitment and contracting strategies to address network deficiencies.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years behavioral health provider contracting experience
• Working knowledge of Louisiana Medicaid behavioral health services and provider requirements
• Knowledge of behavioral health levels of care and service settings
• Ability to evaluate a provider's scope of services and qualifications vs Medicaid requirements
• Experience negotiating behavioral health reimbursement methodologies and contract terms
• Ability to interpret Louisiana Medicaid requirements and contract guides
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Residence in Louisiana with ability to work in Baton Rouge office 1-2x/mo

Responsibilities

• Lead contracting negotiations and ensure provider agreements meet applicable Medicaid requirements
• Assess network needs by level of care and service type; identify gaps and develop recruiting strategies
• Interpret provider manuals, fee schedules, and guidance to operationalize contracts for providers
