Job summary

California Lottery seeks a Warehouse Worker for the Fresno District Office to manage receipt, storage, inventory, and issue of Lottery tickets and related materials. The role operates in a standard warehouse environment and reports to the Warehouse Manager I/II.

New hires are placed at the minimum salary or alternate range; telework is not available. The position requires a current Warehouse Worker exam and a California driver’s license where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience assisting in the receipt, storage or issue of materials.
• Knowledge of safety protocols for lifting and handling up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in an environment with heat, cold, dust and debris.
• Knowledge of methods for taking inventories and maintaining records.
• Bilingual skills are desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform receipt, storage, inventory and issue of Lottery tickets and related materials.
• Work under supervision of the Warehouse Manager I/II and the Materials and Stores Supervisor.
• Maintain awareness of safety and general warehouse conditions.
