Job summary

Brightstar is seeking a Retail Merchandising Associate to support its MI retail operations, focusing on driving sales, optimizing inventory, and ensuring merchandising excellence across the Metro Detroit area. This role collaborates with retailers to maximize opportunities and maintain standards in all distribution points.

The position requires at least 1 year in retail or wholesale sales, strong communication, and proficiency with Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail sales or wholesale sales.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively using company-provided tablets or computers.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must reside within the assigned region.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage product inventory, display execution, and overall product presentation.
• Optimize inventory mix at retail locations through planogram management, instant ticket ordering, and ticket returns.
• Ensure customer Standards of Excellence are met across all points of retail distribution.
• Educate retailers and players to maximize sales opportunities and product awareness.
• Review sales statistics with retailers on a consistent basis.
• Follow all lottery procedures, including picking up, dropping off, transferring, closing, and returning tickets to the warehouse.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and assist with special projects as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
