Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation in Clay, NY is seeking a Project Energy Isolation Manager to lead the LOTO program for construction activities under Bechtel jurisdiction. You will direct LOTO personnel, coordinate with Site Management, ES&H, engineering, and subcontractors to implement isolation controls in line with NFPA 70E and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and typically 8-10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Own and implement the project Energy Isolation Management/LOTO program, including procedures and controls.
• Direct assigned LOTO coordinators, permit personnel, and field engineers; ensure consistent execution across shifts.
• Lead isolation-boundary scoping using design documents and field data to define points of control.
• Review, issue, modify, and close Energy Isolation Permits (EIPs) within delegated authority; ensure readiness for return to service.
• Administer NFPA 70E and electrical safe-work requirements for energized work.
• Coordinate competency assessment, training, and re-verification for all roles involved in LOTO.
• Plan and support inspections, audits, corrective actions, and stop work if safety conditions are not met.
