Job summary

IREN is seeking a Construction Supervisor LOTO - Mechanical to lead lockout/tagout programs across complex mechanical systems in mission-critical data center projects. You will ensure proper isolation, verification, and release of hazardous energy in line with OSHA requirements during startup, testing and turnover, while coordinating with construction teams, contractors, and safety professionals.

The role requires 7+ years in mechanical construction or related fields, OSHA 30, and strong ability

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 500 or First Aid/CPR a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in mechanical construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance, or hazardous energy control in industrial/data center environments.
• Ability to read and verify mechanical drawings, P&IDs, equipment submittals, and commissioning docs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as site SME for hazardous energy control and OSHA compliance.
• Lead and oversee mechanical LOTO activities on pumps, valves, piping, HVAC, and other critical gear.
• Coordinate with commissioning teams, contractors, vendors, and safety reps to ensure safe execution of work.
• Maintain and audit LOTO logs, isolation records, permits, and related docs.
• Provide coaching and training on LOTO procedures and safe work practices.
