Job summary

Southport-Truck-Group in Tampa, FL is seeking a Full Time Maintenance/Janitorial worker to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, walls, glass, and removing trash, as well as assisting with basic vehicle-related maintenance.

You will coordinate with teammates, notify management about repairs, and help ensure a safe, clean facility. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, hold a valid driver’s license, and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building and grounds in clean and orderly condition.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing trash.
• Notify management of need for repairs, and communicate needed supplies or support.
• Maintain facilities flooring, walls, furniture, equipment, supplies, etc.
• Confer with co-workers to coordinate maintenance or cleaning activities.
• Maintain equipment or systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Dispose of trash or waste materials.
• Monitor and maintain facility premises to ensure employee and/or visitor safety.
• Control grounds maintenance and equipment as needed.
• Remove debris from work sites.
• Prepare chemicals for work application.
• Maintains lot inventory for the dealership under guidance of the management.
• Perform a variety of duties as it relates to the maintenance and service of vehicles
• Assist with deliveries when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
