Job summary

National Car Rental, part of Enterprise Mobility's National/Alamo brand, is seeking a full-time Lot Driver at the Springfield Airport location (2300 N Airport Blvd Suite 107, Springfield, MO 65802). This non-CDL, local driving role involves moving vehicles between properties, preparing cars for customers, and maintaining high-quality standards.

The position offers a 40-hour week, a $15.00/hour wage, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must have six (6) consecutive months of prior work/organizational experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive the vehicles from return location to cleaning/servicing location.
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior.
• Drive serviced vehicles from cleaning location to ready line location and park for easy access by customers.
• Move vehicles to different areas of the lot or facility as needed and directed by management.
• Deliver vehicles to other Enterprise locations off Airport property as directed by management.
• Ride with or follow drivers to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up vehicle(s).
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

The lot driver is responsible for moving and positioning vehicles to various designated locations between our properties for servicing, transport and/or rental. A driver will perform all daily responsibilities with a focus on the needs to have vehicles ready for customers in accordance with our high-quality standards.

This position pays from $15.00/ hour and is located at the Springfield Airport- 2300 N Airport Blvd Suite 107 Springfield, MO 65802.

• Sunday - Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
• Sunday - Thursday: 10:00am - 7:00pm
• Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday: 10:00am - 8:00pm

Responsibilities

Our Drivers are responsible for the transporting and shuttling of rental vehicles around and between our National/Alamo and Enterprise locations at ourl Airport location.

• Drive the vehicles from return location to cleaning/servicing location
• Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior - this might include cars of different sizes, as well as vans and trucks prior to taking vehicle through automated car wash
• Drive serviced vehicles from cleaning location to ready line location and park for easy access by customers
• Move vehicles to different areas of the lot or facility as needed and directed by management
• Deliver vehicles to other Enterprise locations off Airport property as directed by management
• Ride with or follow drivers to drop off vehicle(s) or pick up vehicle(s)
• May need to communicate via 2-way radio or cellular phone
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
