Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, is hiring a part-time Vehicle Loader/Lot Attendant in Riverside, CA. You will operate motor vehicles on the lot to support auction activities, moving and staging units safely under supervision. Flexible morning shifts with pay range $17–$17.50/hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets the requirements.
• Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes.

Responsibilities

• Safe operations: Always operate motor vehicles safely and practice conservative, cautious, and courteous driving habits.
• Vehicle staging: Support efficient lot flow and ensure vehicles are positioned accurately to meet operational and sale day needs.
• Operational support: Safely move, stage, and park various makes, models, sizes, and conditions of vehicles in designated lot areas throughout the shift.
• Efficiency: Move vehicles from the finish line to designated parking spots using alphanumeric ordering.
• Inventory tracking: Scan parked vehicles in the Internal Tracking system to maintain accurate inventory and record movement.
• Maintenance: Jump-start vehicles using a battery box as required.
• Safety compliance: Maintain work areas to ensure a safe environment and promptly notify managers of all driving-related incidents or potential hazards.
• Policy adherence: Follow company procedures involving accidents, injuries, or property damage, and ensure all state or federal laws are followed.
• Other duties: Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager.
