Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana-owned company, operates auction lots across the US. The Lot Driver role involves moving, staging and parking vehicles on and off site to support auction flow and customer deliveries.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm; pay range: $17–$17.50 hourly. Requirements include a clean background, valid driver’s license and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. You will verify VINs, assist dealers and staff, and perform basic vehicle checks as directed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to work outdoors under any type of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas, observe auction driving rules.
• Drive assigned vehicles through auction lanes on sale day.
• Verify VIN of cars being picked up and/or delivered against transportation requests.
• Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by the Lot Manager.
• Inflate tires and jump-start vehicles using a battery box and air tank as needed.
• Fill the gas tank when the vehicle is out of gas.
• Assist customers such as dealers, account reps, and co-workers as needed.
• Perform walk-around each vehicle prior to moving and note damage.
