Job description

Join to apply for the Lot Attendant/Parts Runner role at Guardian Fleet Services.

Guardian Fleet Services is looking for a new team member to join our growing family. The Lot Attendant is responsible for moving trucks and organizing the lot to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility, increase customer convenience, and maintain an orderly service area.

Essential Duties
  • Ensuring the lot is organized, clean, and free from trash, litter, and debris.
  • Arranging and parking vehicles in designated lot areas.
  • Overseeing and maintaining inventory.
  • Replacing sold vehicles and empty spaces with new inventory and ensuring the most marketable vehicles are put on display first.
  • Informing supervisors of issues as they arise.
  • Managing lot inventory and systems.
  • Ensuring all vehicle information is in the company’s software.
  • Overseeing the release of all vehicles.
  • Checking forms of payment during release.
  • Ensuring forms of payment match the systems.
  • Marking vehicles that are on the way out.
  • Complying with all company policies and procedures.
  • Performing all other duties assigned by management.

  • Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
  • Must be able to speak, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to communicate calmly and effectively.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when documenting work, hours, and information.
Physical Requirements

Regularly exposed to outdoor environments, can be exposed to extreme cold and heat. The job requires walking, standing, bending, crawling, pulling, use of hands, and the ability to lift. Good hearing and vision are required.
