Job summary

Meijer in Wisconsin is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks, from store operations to customer service. You will interact with shoppers and support our service desk, stocking, cleaning, and helping keep the store welcoming.

Ideal candidates are highly organized with good listening and communication skills, able to lift and move items, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants transport shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and inside store areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment when needed.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes, and parking lot areas.
• Assist multiple departments (Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral).
• Other duties as assigned.

As an entry-level team member, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks related to additional services provided by our store, product and customer service. What You'll be Doing:

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
